The impeller and drive magnets are strong permanent ceramic types which prevent slippage insuring that full motor power is converted into pumping power. Requires a flooded inlet and must be mounted below the waterline. Includes a 6 power cord. LC models are totally enclosed liquid-cooled motors and can be run in open air or submerged.
