Obsidian I by Emma McCartney - Graphic Art

Emma McCartney was born in the Foothills of California, a small town called Tuolumne, fairly close to Yosemite National Park. She studied textile design and oil painting. She studied at a local community college back home and at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise. Art has a lot of meaning for her. It's a way of communicating, expressing herself, and connecting herself to her thoughts and to others. Emma McCartney finds inspiration mainly from nature and emotions. She likes to use all mediums, but her favorites are oil, acrylic, and watercolor. She enjoys being outdoors, playing music, painting, singing, writing, and being with friends.
