Presented is a hand wrought, sterling silver flower vase made by Porter Blanchard during the first quarter of the 1900s. This piece was made in Massachusetts, before Porter Blanchard moved to Southern California in 1923. The small vase is simple is design & has never been engraved or monogrammed. The vase is hand hammered, this hammering especially prominent on the base. The cone style bud vase has a slightly domed base. The underside is marked sterling & Porter Blanchard. This piece is in good condition for its age. There is very minor surface wear commensurate with age & little use. There are no major damages & no repairs. Diameter of base: 2 5/8 inches.
