A delightful, large elephant procession statue depicting the days of the Raj in India when kings & queens would use elephants for formal processions. Within the main carriage on top of the elephants back is seated the king. in front of the king on the neck of the elephant is the driver of the elephant or mahout. He is carrying an elephant goad that is used to steer the elephant. The elephants long trunk is raised above his head in a sign that is usually a show of good luck. The elephant is also wearing a bell around his neck.
