Up for sale is this exceptional Fossil Turtle specimen. The scientific name is Stylemys nebrascensis from the Badlands of Nebraska. Collected legally from a ranch in Crawford, Nebraska. This guy lived in the Oligocene Era, 30 Million Years ago. The Stylemys is a genus of dry land tortoise belonging to the order of Testudines. First discovered in 1851 by Dr. Joseph Leidy. This collector item measures 10.5 inches in length & has a complete carapace & plastron.
