What a splendid piece of silver! This vintage vase was crafted by a silverware maker named Willy Schmitt, who was renowned for making authentic works in the "Hanau tradition". The vase has a beautiful shape & two cartouches that are ready to engrave if desired. The cartouches are framed with flourishes & roses. This piece was left in as found condition so that its new owner may polish it to preference. As you can see, it is very shiny & reflects everything, even itself. (Note that the top is unadorned & reflects the ornamentation in some photos.)
