This is a very unique & rare 19th century primitive stoneware crockery beehive jug with a gorgeous mineral cobalt purple glaze. 1800's It looks like an impression signature on the base but illegible to me. Old & imperfect: Its spout has only a small flea bite flake on its lip, see photo. The jug is in very good well preserved antique condition overall with minimal scars & there are no repairs. 9 " tall x 7 " diameter.
