A Pair Of Chinese Cloisonne Peach Form Lidded Boxes

A pair of Chinese cloisonne peach form lidded boxes, a finely formed pair of matching, peach shape boxes resting on bronze peach branch stands, with a polychrome exterior & a turquoise blue interior. The lid is decorated with a butterfly & various branching blossoms on a red ground with a band of black & gold, lingzhi shape, Ru Yi lappets around the lip. The bottom is decorated with a bird amid various branching blossoms on a red ground, with band around the lip that repeats the decoration near the top's rim. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century. One leaf with kintsugi repair, excellent vintage condition. Dimension given is overall for the pair as displayed.
