Beautiful, ornate vintage brass cathedral clock under glass dome. Brass model of The York Minister Cathedral in Brooklyn, New York. All brass with brass 14-day key wound movement (key included). Beautiful clock face dial with Roman numerals & ornate hands. Glass dome rests on brass placement holders on solid wood base. Detailed Gothic cathedral is made in "skeleton" design allowing movement mechanics to be seen including brass swinging pendulum. Features a brass bell hourly chime. Very high-quality piece. This clock is a very rare, limited edition kit available for custom special order from the Franklin Mint company in the early 1980's. Components made by Hermle Clock Company of West Germany exclusive to this kit. 8" wide wooden base with 5 1/2" X 11" glass dome.
