The Panton chair is a classic in the history of furniture. Designed by Verner Panton in 1960, the chair was developed for mass production in collaboration with Vitra (1967). It was the first plastic chair to be moulded in one piece. The cantilevered structure combined with its body-friendly shape and soft material make the chair very comfortable to sit in. The Panton Chair has won numerous international design awards and is now part of the permanent collections of many famous museums.
