Made by the German company "Auguste Walther & Sohne" in the 1930's, part of their 'Windsor' pattern range, & featured in their 1934's product catalogue with the number 00657. For those who are not familiar with the name, "Walther & Sohne" is well known for their exceptional range of Art Deco vases & table centerpieces, between 1930's & 1940's. So without further ado, this splendid piece is completely made with the famous art of pressed glass, in a very elegant, clear glass color, while at the same time it features a wonderful eight side pointed pattern on the vase's rim, a paneled body supported by two female figurines with interlocked arms over an octagon base (the design is mirrored on both sides of the vase), resulting to the ultimate showstopper for every room & every occasion. The attention to detail pattern is all over the place as the color, the texture & the whole craftsmanship of this piece will absolutely seduce you in ways you cannot imagine, while it looks like it came straight out of some fairytale.
