Each seltzer bottle we sell is an original piece from the 1920s through the 1940s, sourced from across Argentina & restored by a family in Buenos Aires. This set of three: red, blush, & amber seltzer bottles. The date of manufacture is stamped on the metal neck, a small, honest detail that tells you exactly how far this object has traveled through time. The glass carries the marks of its history: the horizontal ribbing, the embossed text, the weight & presence that only decades of daily use can produce. Then comes the transformation. in our Buenos Aires workshop, a family of restorers who have dedicated over 25 years to this craft hand-dips each bottle in vivid, saturated colors (cobalt blue, emerald green, ruby red, deep amber, bright pink, & sun yellow). The result is a vintage form with a contemporary soul. Old glass, new light. A design object: These bottles are restored & finished as decorative pieces, meant to hold light, not liquid. On a shelf, a mantel, a bar cart, or a windowsill where sun passes through the glass, they become something between a sculpture & a lantern.
