This magnificent Japanese Satsuma styled Vase is made out of porcelain, moriage, & gold leaf. This Vase has absolutely incredible Oriental style; the base white color provides an excellent backdrop for the moriage hand painted characters to tell their story, each figure adding a great deal of life to the piece, particularly the wonderfully beaded flying dragon. Please note that there is no maker's mark or stamp on the piece. Please see photos of measurements for size/scale, the height is approximately 9 1/4". Please see photos to determine condition; the vase is secure & sturdy, however there are some small chips, flea bites, faded areas on the gold leaf, & chips/imperfections on the moriage to be expected from age/wear & tear & the handmade nature of the piece, see pictures.
