Rare Early Signed & Dated Mid-Century Salamandra Art Glass Vase

The short-lived (1975-1991) art glass studio established by David Bellantone & Todd Phillips in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, may have been limited in duration but not in achievement: Their work has deservedly become even more highly prized than it was when they were in operation, which included a White House invitation by Rosalyn Carter. The photos do not do justice to the subtleties of this 5.5" tall vase since the swirling pattern looks like a uniform butterscotch color when in fact it is made up of a muted rainbow of colors.
