We're pleased to offer the rare vintage 'Roses Garden' Florence Sculture D'Arte #2224C by Giuseppe Armani, made in Italy. This stunning statue features a young woman in a sky blue dress with white delicately painted flowers on the lower half. Her hair is blowing in the wind under her white wide brimmed hat, & she has a sweet shy smile while enjoying the smell of the roses in her hands. This figurine is hand crafted, intricately hand painted & coming alive with life like facial features & wind blown hair & dress. The sculpture is signed underneath "Florence Sculpture" & has Giuseppe Armani's stamped logo & original sticker tags. Giuseppe Armani was born in Calci, Italy, in 1935, & from the moment he could draw, he did, anything & everything. His parents realized his skill - his uncanny realism & attention to detail revealed Giuseppe's true talent. Finally, in 1975, the Florence Sculture d'Arte, recognizing Armani's genius, offered him the opportunity to work exclusively for them. For more than 20 years Armani has created masterpieces ranging from traditional Capodimonte style to more daring, contemporary, sometimes whimsical sculptures. Always, Giuseppe infused his figurines with breathtaking realism with a spark of life. Giuseppe Armani describes his credo this way: "Although I consider myself a direct descendant of the Renaissance heritage, I believe that an artist has to follow his own evolution & not solely be a ruminant of the past, as glorious as it may have been". This fine Roses Garden sculpture is 11.57" tall, 5.5" wide, 4.5" deep & weighs in at 3lbs 4oz. It is in excellent new condition with original box, & comes with a membership application form for 'The Society', the Collectors of Armani's Art, & a small pamphlet about Giuseppe Armani's figurines & care instructions.
