Then I add one foot of thick, beautiful fringe on each end. The fringe shown includes wet bark browns, cottony creams, deep earth, new grass & olive greens, moss, golden amber, wildfire charcoals & so much more. This richly textured throw blanket is warm without being suffocating & is the perfect, snuggle size to enfold & nurture an individual or couple (5.5 feet long including fringe x 3 feet wide to start; it's very elastic because of the special stitch I used, so it easily stretches). When laid lengthwise, it covers the end width of a queen sized bed, so it makes a lovely warmer at the foot of the bed.
