Antique British Wood & Antler Ink Blotter

A rare find indeed! This wonderful piece is a handmade, hand fashioned British antique ink blotter from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Carved of wood it features an antler handle & an antler burr as a decorative feature that allows the blotter to twist open for adding new paper. We have added vintage brown blotter paper to the piece so it is functional & ready to use. We have paired the blotter with a feather & a vintage quill wrapped with wax string. The feather has been embellished with a single tiny crystal. This is a perfect gift for anyone who practices the art form of calligraphy. This is the first of it's kind for us! Just wonderful!!
