Porzellanfabrik Wehinger & Co Czech Porcelain 8" Vase, Gilt Trimmed Portrait Lovely gilt trimmed handled vase with dark & light green background. Made by the Czech company Porzellanfabrik Wehinger & Co, in business from 1905 until 1929. The mark on this vase was used by the company around 1920, making this vase almost 100 years old. The portrait on the front of the vase is transfer printed & signed. This shape was made by the company in several different sizes & with various decorations. A little wear to the gilt in spots, very small glaze flake/skip to the base edge, glaze pops/pinholes on the inside of the rim, base is a little uneven. - Marks: Czecho-Slovakia around the W ginger jar mark, handwritten 25/3248/42, molded 240-20, handpainted blue "beehive" mark. - Dimensions: 8" high 4 3/4" wide handle to handle, 4" front to back.
