Vintage cast iron doorstop with flower basket. Colors are red, green yellow, blue flowers in a white basket. from what I have read it was made by the Albany Foundry Company out of Albany, New York. Produced during the 1930's era. There is the number 32 incised on the back. The Albany Foundry Company was in operation for only a short period of time, from 1897 to 1932 & specialized in cast iron doorstops. Many were custom ordered & not decorated so they could be painted at home by the customer. Condition is original excellent so it has rust & paint chipping. Measures: 8" tall, 5-1/4" wide 1-5/8" deep Weighs almost 4 pounds. Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii may be extra, please ask. We use the best price for shipping.
