A lovely vintage Scandinavian glass lion sculpture / paperweight / bookend made in the 1970's. Swedish Modernist Glass Design. It was designed by Bertil Vallien for Swedish company Kosta Boda. The lion is one of a number of animals which make up the Zoo series created by Vallien in the 1970s. The animals all have flat backs & look great when displayed with light behind them. Dimensions Approx 3" tall x 4" wide 1 1/4" deep. It is signed figurine with the original sticker as well.Detailed & fine made.
