This pretty stoneware vase comes from the Ernenwein Pottery in Marmoutier. Renowned for their production of colorful shaped pieces - including enameled garden gnomes, each more beautiful than the last - they offer us a ceramic with a mineral & nuanced treatment. The enamel work, speckled & nuanced tawny on a luminous gray background is interesting & demonstrates real know-how. It is the ideal ceramic to highlight a pretty polychrome piece of furniture! The vase is of beautiful craftsmanship, a lack of enamel is to be noted on the neck. It is signed in hollow on the underside. 5.5cm to 13cm in diameter, 21cm in height.
