Surf Art Surfboard Fin Collage "The Gods" | 8Inch

What started as a custom order for a great customer, turned into exploring new aesthetics & has created inspiration for future fins. "The Gods" incorporates classic Tiki imagery with a simple aloha graphic print along with hand painted numbers. This is a handmade collage on an actual 8 inch surfboard fin. It has a nice retro/rustic aesthetic that makes it a great display item. Elements include 5 mixed media layers comprised found imagery, hand made Hawaiian floral prints, hand painted numbers & layered transparency films are from a 1940's Kodak picture booklet. All with distressed details & amazing natural patina. Display it alone, frame it or include it with other elements for an interesting display composition. As with all "made to order" pieces, each fin will vary slightly as they are all handmade. Each order includes one handmade wooden fin stand. The back of each fin is titled, numbered & signed.
