A large table top, freestanding, nautilus air planter. Create your own aquatic wonderland, collect all our sea creatures. This planter sits on your table top, desk, windowsill. The air plant sits inside the mouth of the planter. The air plant is included in the purchase & it slips inside the planter. The nautilus comes in 3 sizes, this purchase is for the large nautilus. It is aprox. 5" round & is lightweight. The air plant snuggly fits in the mouth of the nautilus. We have hanging nautilus available as well. We use the healthiest plants that we have available. Actual plants may vary from photo. The nautilus was hand thrown, altered, sculpted, painted & then bisque fired. It was then glazed & high fired. It is quite durable, & food safe. Lead is never used in our glazes. Your purchase will come with instructions on how to take care of your air plant. It is makes a whimsical gift to any age, for any occasion. Air plants are easy to take care of & they do not need to be planted. They thrive at the office, at home, in a bright bathroom, even on sheltered porches. They like bright, filtered light, avoid direct sunlight. They like good air circulation. The like humid climates, & should be soaked 2-3 times a week, spray between soakings. The like the temp to be between 45-95. Use 1/4 strength orchid fertilizer once a month from Mar-October.
