Antique Top Ornamental Wrought Cast Iron Pineapple finial Gothic Decor Great old cast iron pineapple home decor finial. I'm not sure what it came off of, possibly a fence. But I'm enchanted by its look. This regal cast iron finial measures aprox. 2-1/4" tall X 1-1/2" wide. It is solid. The base measures about 1" round. It would look great on an end table, in a bookcase, on top of a stack of books the possibilities are endless! Fantastic patina of rusty & pitted aged look. This item has been exposed to the elements & has a distressed, rusty patina. If displaying it on porous material such as marble you can expect the rust to transfer to other surfaces unless you put it on a felt or other material where it makes contact.
