1970S Ossie Clark Dress With Celia Birtwell Print

A documented 1972 Ossie Clark dress made from Celia Birtwell "busy Lizzie" print rayon (dm for pics!) This has a drawstring neck that can be worn on or off the shoulder. There is a key hole opening front & back (the back is more apparent when worn than when on the mannequin. This is an easy to wear length, around the knee depending on your height, it's not been shortened, this is how it came (as you can see in the original editorial photo). The dress is in great condition. It is clean & bright. Held to the light I can see some seam stress around the tummy, but this isn't seen when worn. Size tag is 34, I would suggest a 6 to 8 U.K. in today's sizing About 27.5 inch waist, The mannequin is 24 inches & the fit looks great, so I think 24-26 is about right for the design, whoever wore it before wore it a little too tight. 34 inch bust, but pretty flexible due to the gathers.
