Iconic 1970's sequinned evening gown by Morty Sussman for Mollie Parnis Boutique. This emerald green dress is stunning! It is a full length dress from her ready to wear line launched in 1970. Mollie hired designer Morty Sussman to do the initial designs & then approved everything he did before it went into production. The dress is made from a lightweight green & silver Lurex knit jersey. Hundreds of tiny green sequins that have been sewn into place with silver thread so the entire dress shines in the light. These are placed flat on the fabric & cover the entire dress head to toe. The sleeves are cut long & straight. Wide V neckline. It is fully lined, hidden metal zipper closure at the back. Union Made in The USA. Excellent Vintage condition.
