1920S Authentic Chocolate Brown Silk & Gold Beaded Flapper Dress With Figural Landscape Pastoral Pattern, True Art Deco

This is an insanely beautiful & intricately beaded antique 1920s silk flapper dress. The brown silk sleeveless dress is decorated with bugle beads & seed beads. The bugle beads are sewn to depict scenes of people & buildings while the seed beads form flowers. The scenes have an orientalist mood. The neck of the dress has bugle beads coming down in a triangular pattern with small houses on either side. Below that there is a figure on each side of the front of the dress, being over a bucket on a long handle, potentially a scene of rice farmers. Below that is a building in the middle of the dress with bridges coming out on either side. At the bottom are several people kneeling. The sides of the skirt are gathered. This dress is unlined. This style of dress is meant to be loose on the body, take this into consideration when looking at the measurements. Overall in good vintage condition. Some of the beads are missing & some of the beading is coming undone, approximately 10%. There is some tearing & a few holes beginning on the one shoulder. Silk is a natural fiber, with the weight of the beads on this dress it is normal for this to happen over the course of time. Please see the last photo for details.
