Cool 40S Books Novelty Print Dress

Calling all literary buffs, this one's for u! Novelty print of books & flowers. This 40s piece is so lovely. It's really hard to get the color right on this.... the background is not white, but more of a darkish ivory. The flowers are pink & the photos are quite true to color. Condition: Good. There is no eye for the hook on the back closure. It came as a threaded eye which has unravelled a bit. Zip is a little sticky but still works fine: The colours on this are somewhat muted. I do not know if this was the way it was supposed to be or if it is age related. I'm inclined to believe it's the former but am stating this as disclosure. It isn't faded, just... dullish? Dress is also likely to have been let out before as seam marks can be seen upon close inspection. Doesn't affect wearability. Some small scattered holes, not noticeable when worn. See photos.
