Please Read this Item Description Thoroughly This is just a stunning vibrant 50s party dress by designer Suzy Perette. The dress is made of a lush Hot Pink silk. It has a shelf-styled bust with a crumb catcher at the top. At the underbust there are two sweet little bows. The bodice is fitted & structured with boning for support. The skirt is heavily pleated & is very full having a bubble/tulip shape. The center of the skirt is flatter & has two pleats that meet there. Near the hem, there is a bow that matches the bows on the bodice. The dress is fully lined in a red acetate in some sections. The center panel & crumb catcher are stiffened with stiffener. The dress has a metal zipper up the back & fastens with a hook & eye at the top. The dress is labeled Suzy Perette & is marked a vintage size 10, which is more like a modern day 2-4. The dress has its own attached petticoat & is sewn into the dress fastening with a hook & eye at the waist. (Petticoat not included; shown for display purposes only.) Condition: The dress is overall in great condition with only a few small flaws to note. There is a small patch repair to the left underarm. It is hard to see especially due to the location. There are also some very small black marks on the dress, the most noticeable is on the back of the zipper. The only other thing to note is that the dress has bled onto the white petticoat on the inside. The petticoat is sewn in & not at all seen. The dress has been professionally hand laundered & is ready to wear. Measurements Bust: up to 36" Waist: 24" Hips: Free Length: (shoulder to hem): 42.5" (waist to hem): 27" The measurements provided are the max for the garment. Please check the measurements closely for determining fit. I do not give sizes for vintage items as women's sizes are not standardized & a majority of these dresses were homemade or specialty made to fit one person.
