1960S White Chiffon Full Skirt Dress With Pink Lattice Sequined Bodice Xs - Vfg Member

This gorgeous confection of a dress dates from the early 1960s by my estimate. The dress is made of white rayon chiffon over acetate taffeta. The wide waistband is lined with a stiffer interfacing, & the chiffon is shirred into the back center & on both sides of the waist. The front bodice is covered with an opalescent pink sequin grid & filled with clear opalescent sequins. The neckline dips to a V in back. The skirt is full, with the taffeta layer smoothly flaring under the very full chiffon layer. There is a long back covered metal zipper & hidden hooks to keep the zipper placket smooth. This is a commercially made dress (I've seen it labeled Parklane Debs), but this dress has no maker's label. CONDITION: Excellent! SIZE: XS by my estimate, about a US size 2.
