Vintage child's riding jacket & Jodhpur set with a brown & white tweed hunt coat & tan breeches with leather knee patches. Brittany riding Apparel New York was a popular store for the Manhattan Equestrian scene in the 1920s - thru 1970s & part of the Equine Epicenter of New York along with H Kauffman & sons, which purchased interest in this brand in the late 1970s. This darling suit looks like something our beloved Jackie-O would have worn as a child, complete with braided pigtails with ribbons! Suit consists of a wool jacket & flared breeches. Houndstooth plaid riding jacket with beige acetate lining, high notched collar, 3 button front closure & 3 buttons at cuffs, front angled flap pockets, rear center vent. Dark tan flared leg riding breeches with cuffed bottoms, leather knee patches, banded waist with belt loops, button & zippered front, slant hip welt pockets, back welt pockets, unlined.
