Vintage 1980's -Maxwell/Nordstrom- "New Old Stock' Men's Pants. Flat Front - Straight Leg. Gray Blue Worsted All Wool. 35" Waist Long

WPL #1640 (Maxwell Inc.) 100% Wool 35" waist, labeled '41 Reg W35' (please rely on measurements provided) 1980's 'New Old Stock' with tags, both manufacturer & cutter tags. Labeled for Nordstrom stores, manufactured by -Maxwell inc., of Philadelphia, PA. Gray Blue worsted, 100% Wool trousers. Model is the "Churchill". These can be dated by the 'Nordstrom' label, this fort was used 1975-1991 & the ACTWU union(1976 - 1995) demarcation...both indicating a strong placement in the 1980's. Excellent 'Trad' or Ivy style pants. Nordstrom has an interesting history, started as a Seattle, WA, shoe store in 1901, the concern prospered & expanded into clothing in the 1960's. By the early 70's, Nordstrom had become a major retailer on the West Coast & began expanding their US footprint into Alaska & eastward. Waist 35"+(approx. 2" to let). 37.25" Inseam. 48.25" Overall length. Flat front. Leg tapered to knee, straight below. 12.5" rise. Nylon 'Talon' zipper fly with button tab fastening behind & a hook & bar clasp above at waist. 1 7/16" waist band. 1 3/4" belt loops for 1 5/8" belt max. On seam vertical front pockets with slightly convex leading edge. 5th, watch / key pocket, right side, just below waistband. Two jetted seat pockets, left side with thru button closure. 10 1/8" leg opening. Un-hemmed, pinked edge. Light Beige cotton twill waistband, & matching plain woven pocket linings. MINT.
