Some occasional browning and marking to the text, armorial bookplate of Henry Reeve to front paste downs, ownership name to front end papers "Susan Reeve" the front-end paper to volume one creased and edge worn. Recently re cased using original endpapers except the end paper at end of vol 2 replaced. Recent brown calf spines red leather labels, reusing the original marbled paper covered boards some old dust soiling to the board's corners showing wear.
