A superficial 3 mm scratch within the square on the rear panel and a faint superficial scratch over the first "L" and "A" on the side panel (see photo). A tiny bit of the inevitable rubbing (normal) where the aluminum covers slip into the aluminum case. The accordion-fold text panels are in entirely fine condition. Overall, a fine copy.____DISCUSSION: One of the most original and imaginative of the Arion Press books. "Andrew Hoyem's radical design and illustrations realize many implications of the book such as: the "volume" can be opened out flat to form a thirty-three foot plane: the plane-geometrical citizens of Flatland are infinitely thin (holes in paper); they cast shadows; their edges glow". The first half of the book is printed on one side of the panels while the second half of the book is printed on the opposite side. ____NOTE: This is a heavy book and will incur an additional shipping charge domestically. International shipping is $75 U.S. dollars.
