Charles Hobson has inscribed on the edition page adding the following information " Charles A Hobson born Boswell Terrace, Clerkenwell, 1894. Hon Freeman Clockmakers Company 1967. Clerkenwell, Hove, Henfield (Sussex). Freeman City of London 1977. Charles Hobson is a direct descendant of John Hobson 1630, Blacksmith and Clockmaker (Freeman of City of London) a petitioner for incorporation of Clockmakers Company. From information gained in another publication Hobson and Symonds worked closely together and became great friends. Mr Hobson wrote a sort after publication called "Hobsons Choice " see our other items. Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition.
