Quarto. 4 volume set: 2 Volumes: Volume I is 401pp., Volume II is 302 pp. bound in green silk weave fine cloth binding with all edges gilt, in original slipcase unopened and limited to 400 copies, the other volume highlighting their collection of western sculpture, dated 2013, 143 pp. and bound in the same green silk cloth and limited to 350. Together with a fourth volume which is the rare #3 volume of only 100 copies (out of series with no number) 341pp. covers the items acquired since 2004 including the earliest Western paintings before the California Gold Rush. A fine copy specially bound in a fine tan calf stamped in gilt. This masterful work not only has one of the finest collections of Western Art but also the chapters on Taos, Indian, and the range of western landscape artists. Copies in the Library of Congress, Autry and National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. A very fine set.
