74 paper cuts, elaborately hand-coloured (six highlighted and edged in gilt) mounted two to a page, save for 6 (of urns) mounted one to a page, all with glassine guards, bound into a Chinese 6 hole-stab binding, light orange wrappers, illustrated title-label stamped "A 71-80" in red ink (corners a little chipped and spotted), first blanks a little age-toned and cover a trifle creased, but the paper cuts in very good, bright condition, the paper cuts particularly fine. Very appealing book of Chinese paper cuts, featuring theatrical masks and characters, butterflies, flowers, urns and birds, highly coloured and delicate, executed with a high level of precision. Rare in this profusion and as a complete publication.
