8vo. Blue/grey cloth lettered in red. [iv], 80pp. + frontispiece by William (i.e. Willem) de Kooning and 16pp. photographs by Rudolph Burckhardt. Denby's rare first book of poetry, of which there seems to be more than one state. As far as this cataloguer can tell, copies stamped in gilt might be earlier than the present one, but the priority of the cloth colour is less clear. Slightly dust-dulled to the head edge, the edges a little spotted, the boards with some small bumps, rubs and marks, and discolouration to the pastedowns from the binding, but a Very Good example without dust jacket.
