Location: tall photography case. 9th edition (or publication) of the book, with corrections in the third book. Leather covers are worn. Front hinge cracked. Name of owner Mrs. Frances Aston on the front flyleaf, as well as Madam Jane Bigby. Inside the front cover is the name Joyce Cary, quite possibly the 20th Century Irish author. Below is the label of the Historical Tixall Library, a well-known private library that was closed and its contents auctioned off in 1910, and had a sizable collection of Philip Sidney's manuscripts. There is staining and some water damage to the inner pages and covers, some doodles on the last blank page and some notations inside the back cover. Location: tall photography case.
