Complete 13-Volume Set of FDR's Public Papers & Addresses published by three different publishers between 1938 and 1950, all are First Printings, 12 in excellent unclipped dust jackets (only Vol 1 lacks the jacket), all are in uniform gilt-stamped blue cloth with spine titles blocked in dark blue with facsimile signature to front panel (with the exception of the Harper volumes), all are tightly bound & without markings, pages clean & unfoxed with the page block edges slightly toned, Vol 1 graded as VG due to darkeninbg of the spine (titles clear & legible), the rest are Near Fine; the cream-colored jackets are VG to Near Fine, with varying degress of minor chipped edge wear and/or darkening to the spines and toning to the edges, Vol 4 has two large closed tears to the front panel but they are largely impreceptible in the mylar protector, else a clean tight truly exemplary set; Volumes 1-5 were released together by Random House in 1938, Volumes 6-9 by Macmillan in 1941, and volumes 10-13 by Harper in 1950 (and stated First Edition with the appropriate M-Y Harper code); 13 large thick 8vos: xliii + 911pp; xxi + 622pp; xx + 564pp; xix + 675pp; xxiv + 721pp [Random House volumes]; lxxii + 659pp; xxxiii + 686pp; xl + 633pp; xxxi + 741pp [Macmillan volumes]; xxxvi + 632pp; xxv + 552pp; xxvii + 593pp; lxxi + 634pp [Harper volumes]; all are individually indexed; illus with photos & facsimiles.
