First edition, limited issue, number 15 of 100 copies signed by Patricia Jordan Evans of the Bohun Gallery, issued together with a print of Julian Trevelyan's etching "Dream Landscape", with the artist's posthumous stamp. This catalogue raisonné of prints by Trevelyan (1910-1988) was issued to coincide with a retrospective held at the Bohun Gallery in Oxford, 1999. Loosely inserted is a card with a print by Trevellyan mounted on the cover, inscribed by the artist Mary Fedden, Trevellyan's wife, "Much love to you all, Julian + Mary, Durham Wharf". The art dealer Patrica Jordan Evans writes in her introduction, "I first saw Julian Trevelyan in 1982 at his Durham Wharf studio open day, on the river at Hammersmith. A tall man, with white hair and beard, sat on a long-legged chair, his etchings and plan chests covered in unframed prints. His studio was full of friends and visitors and I was immediately aware of his infectious enthusiasm for his work and his great desire to share it with people." The print is from an edition of 150, etched sometime in 1932-33, posthumously restruck by Bohun Gallery in 1998 and printed by Sheila Morrison in Trevelyan's studio on handmade Bodleian laid paper. Quarto. With 30 colour and 400 black and white illustrations. Original red boards, spine lettered in silver, illustrated endpapers. Together with an etching printed on on handmade Bodleain laid paper in black by Shiela Morison in Trevelyan's studio. A few scuffs to boards, minor creases to opening of slipcase, else fine.
