The Bounty Trilogy [signed by descendants of the mutineers in 2018] Charles Nordhoff & James Norman Hall

1936 Hardcover in good condition with a dust jacket in fair condition. In 2018 this copy was signed by 15 descendants of the mutineers in Pitcairn Island. This copy sailed around the world in 2018-19 aboard the Barque Picton Castle, the captain, Daniel Morland took it ashore from July 19 and July 27 2018 and asked the descendants to sign it. It is an absolutely unique book with a tale like no other. The binding is solid and square. The boards show signs of wear and some staining. The dust jacket is worn and there is a large piece missing from the base of the spine and wear along the top of the jacket. (please see the photos) There is an original owner's inscription from 1936 "To Charlie From Margery" There is a note from Capt. Moreland and a stamp from the Pitcairn Islands Post Office dated 27 July 2018 in addition to the signatures of the descendants. The last photo is two images of the Barque Picton Castle.
