FIRST DULAC EDITIONS, title-pages printed in grey and chestnut, tissue-guarded frontispieces and further colour-printed plates by Dulac, occasional light foxing, foolscap 8vo, original pale green cloth, backstrips and upper boards lettered in gilt and dark green within an elaborate floral border stamped in dark green, publisher's device to lower boards (that of E.P. Dutton, same to backstrips, signifying US issue) also in dark green, t.e.g., others untrimmed and spotted, page-markers, some gentle browning or spotting to endpapers of some, monogrammatic device to front pastedowns printed in grey, a couple with small hairline crack at front hinge, but overall astonishingly bright copies and a very good set. Dulac's sixty watercolours for this project came shortly after his graduation from Toulouse's École des Beaux-Arts; he had moved to London in 1904, and anglicised his name.
