Numbered 1227/ 5000 copies, signed on tipped in sheet by Francis Bacon, Peter Blake, Adam Cooper, Spencer Davis, Terry Doran, Jann Haworth, Nicholas Monro, Colin Self, and Bill Wyman. These signatures were collected at the time of the first publication ( Francis Bacon died in 1992). Photographs by Michael Cooper, original black morocco & yellow buckram by Hunter & Foulis, 4to, A weighty photographic record of Michael Cooper's work. Michael Cooper was a 60Õs beautiful person (obit 1972) and friend of the Rolling Stones, Robert Fraser etc., He photographed the cover of the Sergeant Pepper album (designed by Peter Blake.) Every copy has at least 9 different autographs of subjects with Bill Wyman being the only constant. A lavish production and the ultimate record of this gilded period. In black printed draw-string bag with prospectus and subscriber letter. Originally published in 1990 in a slightly different format, 600 copies were published in 2020 in the special 30th anniversary binding, the edition of 5000 comprises both editions. Fine.
