First issued under the title Floraes paradise in 1608, the title changed later and was edited by Charles Bellingham, the second Part was issued in 1660. Small 8vo, approximately145 x 90 mm, 6 x 3½ inches, pages: [28], 1-148; [16], 1-159, [1] last page blank, contemporay calf covers with new spine using the original label, endpapers replaced, leaving 1 original free endpaper at front and rear, engraved armorial bookplate of Philip Earl of Hardwicke. Spine faded, upper cover repaired showing slight damage and scuffing, gilt title to label rubbed leaving the title hard to read, some shelf wear to edges, Part 1 only has pale staining to lower corners of varying degrees not affecting text, pale age-browning to original free endpapers, tiny hole to page 125 of first Part, no loss to text, ink note to first original free endpaper.
