This edition preceded the Hutchinson trade edition and was issued "for private circulation in the British Army of the Rhine. NOT to be circulated or quoted." Octavo. Colour map frontispiece, 45 colour maps (all but 1 folding, Map 46 not present as issued), 3 folding diagrams, facsimiles in text. Original red cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, 21 Army Group shield to upper board in blue and gilt, cream endpapers. With supplied dust jacket.
