Hardcover cloth (brown) over boards. 4to. Unpaginated [192 pp]. Every page, including flyleaves, pastedowns, title page, prelims, and colophon, is a full colour lithographic illustration. Additionally, there are 8 tipped in full colour plate illustrations. Title and ornaments stamped in gilt on spine. Gilt half title, gilt and blue illustration of a knight, and a blind tooled floral ornament stamped on the front board. Deckled foot and fore edge. Inscription on the upper right of the front flyleaf. Text block is clean, unmarked and square with a strong binding. Boards and spine are a little shelfworn, with bumped and frayed corners and chips in the top/bottom of the spine. Small black stain on front board.
