The famed right attorney rose up in the judicial system until 1967 when President Lyndon Johnson nominated him as associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, where he remained until 1991. Tipped to a 4½" X 2 3/4" heavy stock card an artist's black-and-white rendering of Marshall's head and shoulders has been affixed, and to right of this Marshall signs boldly in blue ballpoint. Fine.
