Adelaide, Second 43rd Battalion A.I.F. Club, 1972. Large octavo, xviii, 283 pages with 11 maps and diagrams plus 84 plates and endpaper charts. Grey synthetic cloth lettered in red on the spine, with the battalion's colour patch on the spine and front cover; top edge lightly foxed, others slightly marked; an excellent copy (internally fine) with the excellent dustwrapper (very slightly chipped and lightly rubbed at the extremities). We have previously catalogued a copy containing the original prospectus, which stated that the book was to be published 'in a restricted edition'. We believe this to be not more than 600 copies; in any event, the book is perennially scarce on the open market. Trigellis-Smith 414.
