Later fine binding in half-leather with marbled boards. Raised bands with gilt ruling and spine title. Measures approx. 7.5" x 5" (19cm x 12.5cm). 341pp. 'By C. Lamb' hand-written in ornate script beneath the sub-title. Otherwise no inscriptions. A few spots to endpapers and some partial foxing to closed edges. Marking to half-title page, and the occasional faint isolated spot thereafter, though these are very few and far-between. Partial stain at upper edge of last leaf. Contents are nevertheless clean and bright throughout. Binding is square, clean and firm. Remains a very nice original example. Please see photos for further detail.
